FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

Can the MUNBYN IMC08 count and sort mixed denominations?

Yes. The IMC08 recognizes mixed bills, calculates the total value and denomination breakdown, and uses its second pocket to divert selected denominations or bills based on face, orientation, currency, version, or rejection status.

How does the reject pocket work on the IMC08 money counter?

Accepted bills move to the main stacker while suspicious, worn, damaged, unrecognized, or selected bills can be routed to the 80-bill second pocket. This allows the machine to continue counting instead of stopping at every exception.

Which currencies does the IMC08 mixed denomination counter support?

The IMC08 supports more than 120 currencies through installed packages and updates and can process up to four supported mixed currencies in one count. Examples include USD, EUR, CAD, MXN, LBP, COP, and ILS.

What counterfeit detection does the MUNBYN IMC08 use?

The IMC08 uses 2CIS imaging plus UV, IR, magnetic, dimensional, thickness, security-line, variable-ink, spectrum, fluorescence, and serial-number checks. Bills routed to the reject pocket should always be inspected manually.

How fast is the IMC08 bank-grade money counter?

The IMC08 counts from 800 to 1,200 bills per minute depending on mode. Its hopper holds up to 500 bills and its main stacker holds up to 200 bills for high-volume cash reconciliation.

Can the IMC08 print counting reports?

Yes. The IMC08 supports report printing when connected to a compatible MUNBYN printer. The printer is separate, so confirm the required printer model, cable, and thermal paper before ordering.

What counting and sorting modes are included on the IMC08?

The IMC08 supports mixed denomination, sorting, ADD, BATCH, ADD plus BATCH, and automatic or manual counting. FACE and ORI functions help organize notes by face direction or orientation for deposit preparation.

What should I do if the IMC08 reports a jam or motor error?

Turn off the machine before clearing the feed path, remove folded or stuck bills, and clean the rollers and sensors as directed in the manual. Reload an aligned stack, verify the currency and mode, and contact MUNBYN support if the error returns.
