MUNBYN IRT08 Rugged Tablet for Field and Warehouse Work

I previously purchased the basic model IRT05 Windows rugged tablet from MUNBYN, and this upgraded version has even better performance, running large software smoothly without any lag.

Work greatI love this Windows 11 rugged tablet. The battery can be removed without a screwdriver. This makes me very satisfied.

I'm using this tablet in a harsh production environment for weld inspections. It is much easier than a laptop and gives the inspectors flexibility. We've only had it for a couple weeks but so far its been great. We also use a Bluetooth pocket barcode scanner which is working great. I plan on getting more of these as our application grows.

I bought 2 of these tablets for my sales reps and am very impressed with the quality and performance. Highly recommended.

This tablet was just what I was looking for. Need a tough tablet to use in the field but didn't what to pay the high price that is associated with most tough tablets. No concern over quality here this thing works great for me!!!!

We purchased this rugged tablet for our truck drivers to use in the field while doing pickups. This is an excellent Windows 11 tablet in a high-quality rugged case. Everything looks to be well built with lots of different ports. Set up was quick and easy, the touch screen is bright and responsive, and overall the tablet is an excellent value. Highly recommended if you need a rugged Windows tablet with a cellular connection. We are using with a Verizon SIM and it works great. One note if you do use cellular with this tablet, it uses a Micro SIM (this isn't clear in the instructions).

I think this is a great work tablet, thought I did give myself a scare in losing the small power adapter for a week. the manual does not have any indication of what wattage it requires. the device itself does not display any markings to show what input voltage it needs either. lastly the manual's image of the charger varies drastically from the charger I received so that added to the panic when I couldn't find the adapter I was looking for as it looks completely different from the images.

This thing is amazing. First of all it comes with a case built around it so from day one you are protected from drops, spills, dust. Also has a shoulder strap and on the back a hand strap so you can hold it with one hand like a book. Very versatile. It comes with a powerful processor and plenty of RAM so you can run multiple programs at once. The battery is REMOVABLE AND RELACEABLE on your own. They have great customer service as well. Mine came with Windows 10 Pro preloaded but they even helped me update it to Windows 11 Pro no charge.

We've had these in production mounted to forklifts for almost a year now and they've been working well. Overall... very good price/performance.Highlights:- The construction is sturdy. More of a "hard plastic" feel than soft rubber, but there's large bumpers on the corners. I didn't try dropping one for fun, but it seems like it would take some knocking around okay. That's not too much of an issue in our case.- Comes with regular Windows 11 Pro. Minimal if any pre-loaded extras. With a Windows provisioning package, on-boarding is a breeze. That's not specific to these tablets, but it does work without issue. Intune or similar MDM enrollment should be a non-issue as well.- Handles 12-18VDC input via its DC jack. The jack itself is a 4.0mm x 1.7mm, which is somewhat uncommon, but not unobtainable. No apparent issues with DC power from a forklift accessory circuit, which is likely not very clean/stable.- Munbyn's support has been impressively responsive via email, fielding general support/product questions, feature requests, etc.- WiFi connectivity has been good with a Unifi AP installation. Better than other more expensive handheld devices.

The wireless signal strength is quite good in the industrial application we are using them.

it feel solid and hoping itll last a long time in the harsh factory floor environment

Came with Windows 11 Pro and seems like solid build quality thus far. I have also contacted their support department and have been happy with their level of courtesy, professionalism and timeliness. I have not had much experience with this brand yet and the tablets we purchased are still fairly new, but so far so good.

Working in the construction industry, I needed something that if were to be dropped if wouldn��t be damaged, if were to be exposed to water it would still function and with this tablet, I don��t have to worry. To be honest, I don��t ever see the tablet being exposed to the type of exposure it is meant for but it is comforting to know that if it ever is, it will be ok.

This is a great little tablet. I am just disappointed that the manufacturer does not make a car power adapter. Purchased the one that they said would fit but it will not work. It will fit the dock yet the plug is too small for tablet. I guess that I will keep looking and googling to find one.Major update, company has now helped me out and is sending 12v adapter. Now they get 5 stars. If I could I would give them 6.

I ordered the MUNBYN IRT08 it is a very powerful and well built computer , I had some trouble getting started and got ahold of there service tech , he was great to deal with and solved all my problems , biggest problem was me not knowing what to do , it has windows 11 pro . I would deal with these guys again in a heart beat.

I'm not one for reviews. Simply because everyone has their own opinions. However, for me this Windows IRT08 has been great since I have had it. I purchased this tablet for doing wireless surveys for work. I can honestly say it has met those needs just fine. I love the handheld function. Having the hand strap in the back prevents hand fatigue. Fast bootup, fast response time on the APPs. The rugged design is great. I will admit two days after it was purchased my son was admiring it and dropped it on the kitchen floor (YIKES). The drop did not phase this thing at all. As with any computer as time went on, I did have a driver issue that got resolved quickly by the support folks. For me support is everything. Many thanks to the support folks for helping me to fix my little issue so quickly. I will purchase again from Seller and Manufacturer.

I originally purchased the IRTO8 tablet and didn��t start using it until about a month later. It��s a very high-end tablet with Windows 11, but I needed a device that could run Android apps for our field technician program. I realized afterward that this model works more like a desktop tablet and doesn��t support Android app downloads. Since my Amazon return window had already expired, I planned to just keep it even though it wasn��t usable for our needs.Later, we purchased another tablet from Munbyn that DID support Android apps, and I decided to reach out to the company directly about the situation. I��m so glad I did �� their customer service was exceptional. They listened, understood the issue, and worked with us even though the return period had passed.They actually allowed us to return the first tablet and send us two tablets equal to the value of the original, both fully compatible with the Android apps we needed. This not only solved our problem but also gave us a backup tablet plus an extra device for our new technician.Companies rarely go this far to take care of their customers. Incredible support, extremely fair, and definitely worthy of 5 stars! Highly recommend.

It's great for collecting information on the job, too slow for anything more. It's pretty tough though.

Works as expected. It has held up well in a rough environment. Had a problem with the battery not maintaining a charge after a year or so. The company replaced it at no charge as it was still under its 2-year warranty. The batteries themselves are difficult to find in the US.
